All things creative
I’ve always been drawn to creativity—whether it was painting, crafting, or designing, I’ve loved bringing ideas to life with my hands. This passion led me to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Computer-Based Design, and for over ten years, I have honed my skills as a graphic designer in the corporate world. Throughout my career, I’ve loved blending artistry with precision, turning concepts into visually engaging designs.

My journey into handmade textures began in 2018, sparked by a simple Pinterest post of a wedding macrame backdrop. Inspired, I taught myself macrame and started creating pieces from home. What began as a personal hobby quickly grew into a thriving business, gathering a large and engaged audience who appreciated the warmth and uniqueness of handmade decor. I named my business Ochre Alley, combining my name, Chloe, with my son Arley’s—something meaningful that represents both my personal and creative journey.

Alongside macrame, I’ve always enjoyed designing stationery for special occasions—from wedding invitations and baby shower signage to helping start-up businesses with their logos and branding. Today, I combine my love for graphic design and handmade artistry to create meaningful, one-of-a-kind pieces. Based on the Sunshine Coast, QLD, I’m passionate about helping others celebrate life’s special moments and bring their creative visions to life.
